This anime caught my attention one night while I was on Netflix and thought I would give it a shot. Now my review will is only based off the fact that Netflix only has season 2, but I will be looking for season 1 before giving a full rating so lets dive in.
The plot of the anime is a little confusing to me but im sure once I find the first season it will make more sense. To be honest I was not that interested and thought that I would not like it, but after a few episodes the characters drew me in.The animation its self was good with its affects of the water and falling leaves just added more to it.

The characters were interesting and at first impression I felt the dynamics of the pair weighed heavily on Lawrence(top) having to take care of Holo(bottom). As I contained to watch I saw that it was a perfect balance. As they both take care of one another even though there is fighting form time to time neither one wants to lose the other one as a traveling companion, or maybe there is something more then traveling? The romance between Holo and Lawrence is sweet, and unnoticed on Lawrence's part which just leaves a lot of teasing from Holo on his part. Another thing that confused me in this anime was all the economics, but like I said at the top I'm only in the second season and the more I've been watching the more I start to understand the economics. I rate this 7.5 but it is a pending rating still need to see the first season before it is final. |
